Three dead after another US shooting

A GUNMAN has died after a shooting that killed a policeman and another man near the Texas A&M University campus, police say.

Police spokesman Jon Agnew said two other law enforcement officers and another woman also were injured in the shooting in College Station on Monday, local time.

Assistant College Station Police Chief Scott McCollum earlier identified the officer killed as Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann.

The university issued a warning on its website at lunch time warning of an active gunman near the campus football stadium.
