THE Busby Marou boys are back on Australian soil after their first touring experience of the US and Canada, but it won't be for long.

Rockhampton's favourite sons have returned pretty pleased with themselves and have hit the ground running, announcing upcoming tour dates for the end of 2012.

The agenda is filling up for the indie-folk duo, with an east coast tour planned in support of their new single I Still Don't Believe and the news they've signed with The Agency Group in Canada to book their live shows.

Add to that the release of the deluxe edition of their debut album and a first-time performance at Bluesfest earlier this month and you've got a recipe for success.

The new single was recorded with Anthony Lycenko (Elvis Costello/Xavier Rudd) in Byron Bay between shows on their most recent tour, with many fans already lapping it up.

But the local lads have found spare time to schedule a visit to their home town, stopping in for one of Rockhampton's biggest annual events, Beef Australia 2012.

Playing alongside country great Kasey Chambers on May 11, Busby Marou will be part of the impressive list of entertainment over six days at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.

Busby Marou manager Josh Jones said fans should get in quick as tickets for the show were selling fast.

The show is an all-ages event and tickets are available from the Pilbeam Theatre.
