A NAKED man has been arrested outside Orlando Bloom's home.

The nude individual lay flat on the road and allegedly shouted he was ''high on drugs'' as officers arrived to detain him near the Hollywood mansion of the 'Lord of the Rings' star and his wife Miranda Kerr, who have 17-month-old son Flynn together.

But when policemen tried to arrest the unidentified man, he dived head-first into bushes in an attempt to avoid officers.

The policemen put on black gloves before eventually wrestling the man to the ground, and he was handcuffed with his hands behind his back and driven away.

It is not known who called the police to the Los Angeles neighbourhood, which is also close to the homes of Charlize Theron, Will Ferrell, Jason Statham and Laura Dern.

The incident comes shortly after One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson was woken by a naked man trying to get into his hotel room in Stockholm, Sweden, recently - but it turned out that the man was simply a fan trying to find a toilet.

The group - who are also made up of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - have also been forced to increase their personal security after one of their over-zealous female fans was discovered hiding in one of their rubbish bins.
