ONE northbound lane has been reopened on the Pacific Highway at Tabbimoble following a truck fire this morning allowing traffic to now slowly pass the earlier incident.

The incident is near the New Italy rest area.

Southbound lanes remain open.

Tabbimoble is located on the Pacific Highway north of Maclean on the NSW Far North Coast.

Emergency services and traffic crews remain on site.
