Perfect gift a Mother's Day baby
MOTHER'S Day gifts don't get much better than that of Coutts Crossing's Bec Hay.
At 3.37am on Sunday, she welcomed her first daughter into the world.
Danielle Jean Hay arrived a week or so early at Grafton Hospital after Bec went into labour the night before.
Bec had planned to just have a barbecue with the family but the early arrival changed those plans.
Meeting her daughter for the first time was one of the best moments for the first-time mother.
"I couldn't ask for a better first Mother's Day," she said.
"Though I could have done with a little less pain."
