Raids find cannabis, cash

POLICE have cracked a major marijuana production network in NSW.

On Friday, detectives attached to Strike Force Whitmont discovered 20kgs of cannabis leaf and $70,000 in cash during raids in Sydney, Forster, Tamworth and the Hunter Valley

At least 150 charges are expected to be laid against the 18 arrested.

Strike Force Whitmont was set up in March this year to investigate the commercial production and supply of drugs in regional NSW.
