Courtney and Bonnie Hancock shared each side of the podium at the Coolangatta Gold finishing second and third

SAWTELL'S Hancock sisters have done the Coffs Coast proud claiming second and third in the Coolangatta Gold.

Last year's champion Courtney Hancock finished in second spot despite leading for parts of the race while Bonnie Hancock recorded her best ever result  with third.

Leading Brodie Moir going into the final run leg, Courtney could not maintain the intensity shown by her opponent going down by a mere 38 seconds.

It is an impressive result for both Courtney and Bonnie who will go into the upcoming Nutri-Grain series full of confidence.
