South Grafton vandal rampage

Mike Knott

THE Examiner has been busy chatting to angry business owners in South Grafton this morning over the smashing of nine windows across nine business houses last night.

Police have a man in custody and video footage captured by Alchemy Cafe's CCTV system shows a person swinging a piece of timber at the Skinner St windows.

Photos of the damage, a screenshot of the man in action, comments from retailers and the police response can be viewed in the Examiner's print edition tomorrow.

The Examiner will also look into the successful implementation of CCTV systems in Ipswich and other areas in coming days.
