Flights have been delayed on the Gold Coast this morning.

AIRCRAFT are lining up at the Gold Coast Airport with delays still being experienced after the postponement of flights to Sydney this morning.

Flights to and from Sydney Airport were delayed due to heavy fog at Sydney.

At 10.27am Sydney Airport was reopened.

A Gold Coast Airport spokeswoman said no Sydney-bound flights were diverted to the coast, but regular flights from the coast were temporary grounded.

Passengers were still waiting at 10.30am to depart for Sydney.
