Former Toowoomba man Geoffrey Finch unveils his Autumn/Winter 2012 collection at London Fashion Week.

FORMER Toowoomba man and now world-renowned fashion designer Geoffrey Finch unveiled the latest collection for his label Antipodium at London Fashion Week on Monday.

Mr Finch is one of the creative geniuses behind Antipodium which is sold in 11 countries including high-end retailers in the UK such as Harvey Nichols.

The Autumn/Winter 2012 collection included an array of contemporary classics including sports wear, tea dresses, coats, blazers and fur-lined sports jackets.

Mr Finch described the London Olympic site and urban foxes as inspirations behind the collection.

The show, called Goodbye Horses, included a "palette of rich tans and warm desert browns, apricot, dusk and tobacco, with gingham and tweed, peachy silk satins, corduroy and super-soft wools faded and textured like polished agate."

Mr Finch, along with co-founder Ashe Peacock, debuted the label at London Fashion Week in 2006.

Recently the brand launched in the United States where it was first delivered to Barneys New York.

Antipodium's success has been mirrored with the likes of celebrities Maggie Gyllenhaal, Alexa Chung, Beth Ditto, La Roux and Ladyhawke all calling them- selves fans of the up-and- coming brand.
