Tributes flow for Dalby boy killed in horror crash

TRIBUTES are flowing for a Dalby toddler killed in an horrific crash in Rockhampton on Sunday afternoon.

Taylen Williams, 4, died from injuries sustained in the crash on Tuesday afternoon.

His mum Kel Williams, 34, remains in a stable condition at Rockhampton Hospital and his brother Zeith, 6, was released from hospital today.

Friends and family have posted their tributes on Ms Williams' Facebook page. 

"Fly high with the angels wee man and look after your family. RIP, too young too soon," one person wrote.

"He was a handsome little man so sad he was taken so young."

"Fly high angel. Xoxox taken way too young. We know you will be watching down over your amazing family and will always protect them. Xoxox."

" Sweet little man xoxo."

On Sunday about 1.30pm, a car travelling north on the Burnett Hwy at Bouldercombe near Rockhampton, collided head-on with a four wheel drive travelling south.

A 25-year-old Park Avenue woman, who also sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash, remains in a critical condition and has been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

Two women, a 27-year-old and a 34-year-old both from Kawana (Rockhampton) and a 5-year-old Rothwell boy were also injured in the crash but are now in a stable condition.

Investigations are continuing.
