Pony Club's big gamble pays off

THE Grafton Pony Club had a continuous gamble with the weather over the Easter long weekend as the hosted their annual Easter camp at Hawthorn Equestrian grounds.
The gamble paid off with 70 riders aged from three to 25 taking to the arena each day.
A guest instructor introduced the children to natural horsemanship techniques on Friday and appeared to be impressed with the facilities and opportunities that are available to young and developing Grafton riders.
Participants could also to hone their dressage, jumping and sporting skills.
