THE Clarence Valley real estate market continues to show signs of holding up with Ray White Real Estate selling two properties under the hammer on Wednesday night.
Five properties were put up for auction at the Quality Motor Inn in Grafton with a crowd keen to join the action.
Properties sold included 21 Howe Street, Grafton, a three-bedroom brick home.
And 136 Armidale Street, South Grafton, a two-bedroom home with a rural outlook, was also snapped up.
Ray White Grafton principal Adam Sydenham was impressed with the turnout.
“We had a solid number of registered bidders and good attendance,” he said.
“We also have had interest in a couple of the properties that we didn't sell on Wednesday night.”
Mr Sydenham has no concerns about the stability of the property market in the Clarence Valley district.
“While Grafton doesn't ride the booms of the metropolitan property market, it also does not become too badly affected by the lows,” he said.
“Property is still a very stable investment in our area,” Mr Sydenham said.
He also has some tips for growing families and those who simply need a little more room to move
“This is a great time for people to upgrade from the lower end of the property market and get into a higher-end piece of real estate,” Mr Sydenham said.
