FOOTY fans throughout the Clarence Valley have embraced The Daily Examiner's poster supporting the Lower Clarence Magpies first grade rugby league team playing in this weekend's first grade grand final.

Club president Garry Anderson said he noticed businesses already displaying the posters that were printed in yesterday's edition of The Examiner.

“It would be great if all the businesses on the Lower Clarence and in Grafton would get behind the Magpies,” Mr Anderson said.

“It already looks like we're going to have a bumper crowd, with buses coming from Yamba, Iluka and Grafton.”

The Daily Examiner will provide in-depth coverage of the game - the first time since 1984 that the Magpies have contested a decider.

There will be a bumper grand final edition on Saturday featuring in-depth coverage of the Magpies and Northern United.

On game day there will be live web updates and The Examiner website will have video highlights of the game on Monday.
