Hornet hunting: Rhinos centre Joe Ravueta.
LAST time the Grafton Rhinos and Cudgen clashed, Xavier Sullivan's men handed the Hornets a rugby league lesson.
The Rhinos produced a near-flawless showing to take the sting out of the Hornets with a merciless 44-14 victory.
For Cudgen coach Con Theodossiou the loss is still fresh in his mind and he admits he's still having nightmares about the Rhinos' flying Fijian Joe Ravueta.
“They (Rhinos) gave us a touch-up last time and their centre was almost unstoppable,” Theodossiou told The Daily Examiner yesterday.
“I hope he (Ravueta) has to go to church or something and is unavailable for the game.”
Playing opposite former NRL journeyman Matt Seers, Ravueta scored an electric double and Rhinos supporters will be hoping the nightmare continues when the two sides meet in the elimination semi-final at Ned Byrne Field, Kingscliff, tonight.
