On a dark night at Kingscliff, Rhinos captain Xavier Sullivan can’t get through the Cudgen Hornets defence.
A brave Grafton Rhinos outfit had the line drawn through their 2010 campaign following a heartbreaking elimination semi-final loss to Cudgen on Saturday night.
Despite holding a lead for much of the contest, a late flurry by the hosts, led by veteran Craig Field, left the Ghosts standing as the Clarence Valley’s sole rugby league side remaining in the NRRRL’s first grade competition.
The final scoreline was 44-30.
