Spectacular racing at Maclean

WOW.

Officials were left with just that word to describe the Maclean Dirt Bike Club’s August 22 meet.

Prayers for perfect weather and fun-filled racing action were met when sunshine greeted the riding contingent.

With only two more rounds left of the race calendar, the event proved to be a spectacular day of racing with plenty of action to keep the spectators enthralled throughout the whole day.

A question that was heard in the crowd: “Are they riding for sheep stations?”

Foot peg to foot peg and bar to bar, the racing was on.

The social class proved its biggest yet, and with plenty of new riders of all ages to the club joining on the day it was one of the best days yet.

MDBC will be holding a JCP five-hour coaching day on Saturday, September 4 and round 5 of the club’s championship will be held on September 12.
