DO you value your health and well being?

Want to improve your fitness and like a challenge?

If the answer is yes then Functional Habits Health and Fitness could be for you.

The brainchild of local fitness instructor Shaun Davison, Functional Habits is all about improving your life style.

“The purpose of the business is all in the name,” Davison says.

“It involves exercises that will make you function better in every aspect of life whilst developing habits for superior wellbeing.”

Since starting the business last year, Davison has joined forces with two highly regarded fitness trainers, Craig Nipperess and Josh Nagle making the team at Functional Habits a formidable leader in local Health and fitness.

“With Craig and Josh coming on board Functional Habits will not only have a wealth of knowledge in the fitness industry but enable members to experience what we are all about six days a week,” Davison said.

“At the essence of every Functional Habits sessions are challenges to make everyday life easier and performance better regardless if you are an athlete, a fitness enthusiast or someone who needs to make a positive change in their life.”

Davison says training techniques used are devoid of typical gym equipment with the focus on variety and catering for individual needs.

“We won’t be using machines like in gyms, we create them,” he said.

“Our aim is to turn everyday people into efficient and functional machines.

“Our sessions aim to cover all 10 components of fitness, something which isn’t offered in your normal fitness classes and gyms.”

Davison says his team of instructors each have a sporting background, but it is their passion for fitness and helping people which has bought them together.

“We truly believe that exercise and fitness can help people live positive lives and we want them to share our passion,” he says.

Functional Habits will be holding their Spring Launch Day tomorrow at Memorial Park from 6.30am-10.30am.

“It will be an opportunity to meet the trainers and try a variety of exercises,” Davison says.

Functional Habits will also be providing official personal trainers for the Clarence Valley Biggest Loser Competition.
