If you're leaning towards the latter, it might be time for a change. And if change is what you're thinking, you're not alone. According to a survey of more than 30,000 worldwide, 32 per cent of respondents want to leave their organisation.
We work around 70,000 hours in our lifetime, so it's understandable that we want to be somewhere and be doing something that we enjoy.
But what we enjoy is individual, and finding our own equilibrium of passion versus pay is half the challenge.
Every job requires us to do some things that aren't enjoyable, says Iain Crossing, director of Inspirational Workplaces. But, if you are continually being asked to perform tasks that don't interest or motivate you, it's time to reassess.
