1. Lawrence Museum Bumper Garage Sale

WHEN: Saturday, from 7.30am.

WHERE: Lawrence Museum, 2 Merton St, Lawrence.

DETAILS: The bargains are bursting out of the garage for the Annual Lawrence Museum Bumper Garage and Book Sale. Everything is priced to sell. Refreshments available and all proceeds go towards building a new shed at the museum.

2. Seniors Expo

WHEN: Friday (Grafton) and April 4 (Yamba).

WHERE: South Grafton Ex-Servicemen's Club and Yamba Bowling Club.

DETAILS: A variety of information stalls, speakers and entertainers are booked to ensure there is something for everyone.

WHEN: Until April 26.

WHERE: All over the Clarence Valley.

DETAILS: Get out and see some of the best art and culture the Clarence Valley has to offer. The full program is available at Clarence Valley Council website www.clarence.nsw.gov.au.

4. Flickerfest

WHEN: Friday, from 7pm

WHERE: Saraton Theatre, Grafton

DETAILS: Celebrating its landmark 25th year, Flickerfest will be screening the best of shorts from Australia and around the world for their 2016 Festival. Tickets: Adults $16, Concession $14 and $11.50 for seniors, from the Box Office.

5. Dragon Boat Come and Try

WHEN: Saturday, 10-11am

WHERE: Corcoran Park, Grafton

DETAILS: Grafton Dragon Boat Club is holding its monthly come and try day for anyone 12 years and over wishing to try the sport of Dragon Boat Racing. It's free so come along and give it ago. We are looking for more men to join the club. graftondragonboatclub@ gmail.com or 0401 634 414.

WHEN: Sunday from 8am

WHERE: Iluka Sports Oval on the corner of Owen and Spenser Streets.

9. Group 2 rugby league

WHAT: Grafton Ghosts v Coffs Harbour

WHERE: Frank McGuren Field, Grafton

DETAILS: The local rugby league season kicks off, with the Ghosts taking on last year's grand finalists from Coffs. Day starts with under-18 trial between Ghosts and Rebels at noon.
