2015 North Coast Tennis Titles underway

After rain washed out day one yesterday, organisers had to wait until about 10.30am today for the hardcourt surfaces to sufficiently dry for the match referee to give the all clear.

From top ranked Australian players from throughout New South Wales and Queensland to young aspiring local kids all hi the court in the quest for silverware.

Among those is Grafton-raised Brittany Huxley, home for on vacation from the college tennis system in USA. She and fellow hometown lass Taylah Beckman will look to defend their AMT Open Women's Tennis title this weekend.

However, the pair seeded 5th and 2nd respectively are due for a classic quarterfinal showdown in the singles - assuming they get through their early round matches first, of course!
