'70s kids go back to school

THOSE glorious school days.

Well, they weren't always that good - especially if you continually got in trouble with your teachers - but for some reason our minds like to keep taking us back there.

Former South Grafton High School student Sharon Law (Mears) is organising a school reunion for students who attended South Grafton High School from Year 7 in 1975 to Year 12 in 1980.

The reunion will be held at Georgie's Gallery Restaurant in Grafton on Saturday, September 24, and all students and teachers from those years are invited.

"(There's) a fun night of reminiscing, dinner, music and dancing planned so please get in touch to confirm your attendance as soon as possible," Ms Law said.

"Old 'schoolies' not wanting to miss out on the fun will be travelling from far and wide, including Tasmania, Brisbane, Melbourne ... and even from USA.

"We are also looking for old photos, stories and memorabilia to display on the night (so) if anyone is able to contribute, we would love to hear from you."

Contact Sharon Law (Mears) on 0408 431 107 or email: sghs-reunion@hotmail.com.
