Australian woman believed to be kidnapped in Afghanistan
THE father of an Australian woman apparently kidnapped in Afghanistan has pleaded for her safe return.
Men in military uniforms took Kerry Wilson, 60, from her office on Thursday.
She had been working on aid projects in Jalalabad, near the Pakistani border.
Her father, Perth man Brian Wilson, 91, told the ABC he was "extremely worried" for her safety, given she took security precautions.
The Taliban and Islamic State are active in the area. The Federal Government is working with Afghan authorities to find Ms Wilson.
