Eight wounded as fifth suicide bombing hits Turkey

NERVES in Turkey have been further frayed by the country's fifth suicide bombing this year.

Several media outlets reported that a suicide bomber blew herself up near the main mosque in the city of Bursa, wounding eight people.

Worried about the threat to the economy, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters that tourists visiting Istanbul or Bursa did not face greater risks than those who went to Brussels.

Islamic State bombings killed 35 people in the Belgian capital last month.
