Father accidentally runs over his toddler

A TODDLER remained in a Sydney children's hospital on Sunday after he was accidentally run over by his father in their drive-way on the NSW mid north coast.

Paramedics were called to a unit complex on Park Beach Rd, Coffs Harbour late Saturday.

A man told police he had just finished washing his Holden Commodore when he accidentally reversed into his one-year-old son.

The boy was airlifted to Westmead Children's hospital and was being treated for suspected internal injuries and bruising to the chest.
