'Fattie'-fearing doctor says more vegies mean better orgasms

EAT your way to great sex or die too soon, says a Mackay GP worried by the growing number of fatties mooching around his loved city.

To beat sluggish bedroom pursuits and boost our health, the good doctor wants us to get breathless in our exercise pursuits so as to better our sex lives.

"Mackay is not the worst (for obesity) but we are up there in the top section, eating and drinking the wrong foods, having too much sugar, too many carbs and not enough vigorous exercise," said Dr John McIntosh from Mackay GP Superclinic.

"Eat more vegies, drop the sugar and calories, exercise and have better sex and better orgasms.

"You must exercise vigorously enough that it gets your heart rate up and pounding. You need to be breathless, huffing and puffing, working hard and to sustain that level of exertion for some time."

Dr McIntosh confronts the weighty health issue in his health column in the Daily Mercury tomorrow and challenges us to get our heart rate up and burn off calories to get fit.

He said taking on more physical exercise is an essential ingredient in our life along with a focus on healthier eating. Dr McIntosh said people would be astounded at how quickly they improve in energy and wellbeing. The end result a better sex drive that leads to great sex.
