Wooden spoons not enough to kill the mood for Eels

PARRAMATTA fullback Jake Mullaney says the Eels players are still enjoying themselves despite looking certain to win back-to-back wooden spoons.

"There's still a good feeling in the sheds. I go to training every day and have a ball," he said.

"We're training with our best mates. We turn up each week and we just put our best effort in for each other."

That is unlikely to be good enough to stop the Storm which has won its past three and can wrap up a place in the top four with a win at AAMI Park tomorrow.

The Eels will be without dynamic co-captain Jarryd Hayne (knee).
