A Journey of Healing

I MOVED to live in the Clarence Valley in December 2012 at the age of 47.

For most of my life since I have suffered depression and at one point suicidal thoughts due to being sexually abused at 9.

I never told anyone about the abuse until 2010.

Due to the support of my new husband Michael (Married Oct 2013), his family who are from Grafton and Maclean, a psychologist at the Grafton Hospital and The Cranes program in Grafton I began to face my demons.

I have written a book as therapy called A Journey of Healing. It is in two parts.

The first part tells my story and the second part is motivational poems, advice and support for those who have been through trauma.

It was officially published on the 19th of May 2015.

I am so grateful to all who have helped me and I want others to know as long as we keep silent we keep the pain.

The pain continues to destroy us.

I really want to be able to help others face their demons.
