Abducted Zillmere boy found safe in Merriwa, NSW

A TWO-year-old boy who was abducted from a Brisbane home at the weekend has been located in New South Wales.

It is believed the boy's mother abducted him from his grandparent's home in Beams Road, Zillmere at about 12pm on Sunday. (Oct 27)

Queensland Police issued a formal child abduction alert shortly after midnight sparking a massive search.

The boy was found safe and well at an address in Merriwa, New South Wales around 3.15pm today.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
