Accident closes Pacific Highway

1:02pm: The earlier accident on the Pacific Highway has been cleared.
Two cars involved in the crash, with no injuries to report.
12:30pm: A car accident has closed the Pacific Highway near Ballina.
The accident, which happened at 12:20pm, has forced the closure of the Pacific Highway in both directions.
All vehicles are being turned around, with no detours available.
Emergency services are on the scene, and are advising motorists to avoid the area.
