THE Premier League chairmen are yet to make their first sacking but, when they do, there will be a former European Cup, Premier League, Serie A and FA Cup-winning manager available.
Carlo Ancelotti, the former Chelsea boss, yesterday confirmed his desire to work again in England.
Ancelotti won the domestic double in his first season, but was fired in May after failing to win anything in his second. He has remained in England and has continued his language lessons. "The Premier League is the best competition in Europe, so I would like to stay here if it is possible," he told Radio Five Live's Sportsweek. "The life here in England is beautiful."
Ancelotti added: "I would like to manage a team that has ambition and I want to wait and see what happens this season." Tottenham, next season, should Harry Redknapp take on the England job, is the most likely destination.
Of his departure from Chelsea Ancelotti said: "I was not happy, but it was a really fantastic experience. Obviously you have to win because Chelsea is built to win."
