Another arson attack sparks police appeal

AFTER yet another act of arson in Grafton on Tuesday night, police are again appealing to the community for information.

This time the round- about at the junction between Pound and Queen Sts was the target.

About midnight police attended a small fire on the roundabout.

All that remained yesterday were some charred brochures which appeared to have been piled up and set alight.

The fire comes after a spree of similar incidents have plagued the Valley.

On Saturday night, a skip bin was set alight behind the Saraton Theatre, then on Monday, police and emergency services attended a grassfire near Grafton Base Hospital.

Contact Grafton Police on 6642 0222.
