Another young lady up for showgirl

WANTING to experience something new, Jasmine Dunn-Smith has put her hand up to be nominated for Grafton's showgirl.

The 17-year-old Grafton High School student began modelling part-time last year and wanted to do something a little different, while still getting her profile out there.

“My family has been in Grafton for about six years and I really wanted to do something that would get me involved in the community. I have thought about things like showgirl and Jacaranda Queen, so I thought why not,” she said.

Hoping to meet new people and see a different side to the Grafton show, the confident young lady is looking forward to the experience.

“I am pretty confident but I haven't done much public speaking, other than in class at school, so it will all be a new experience. But I am thinking it is going to be a really positive one. You never know who you are going to meet through something like this.”
