Artful youths brighten hospital

DETAINEES at Grafton's Acmena Juvenile Justice Centre have brightened the lives of patients at Grafton Base Hospital by donating original artworks from their annual exhibition.

The four teenage artists who painted the pieces focused on themes of spirituality and reconciliation.

Grafton Base Hospital executive John Wickham was grateful for the donation because it gave the hospital a chance to promote Aboriginal culture.
