Better roads push

THE NRMA Motoring and Services Better Roads campaign has stepped up a gear with calls for submissions from the community advertised across regional NSW.

Public submissions have been extended to Friday, July 15 to allow community members to have their say about the most important road issues for their community and the regional economy.

Local NRMA director Wendy Machin said the formation of the Far North Coast Better Roads Panel, announced in May, had stirred a lot of interest in the community.

NRMA Motoring and Services had established a total of 10 Better Roads Panels to champion regional roads, Ms Machin said.

The panel members are local residents and industry and community representatives who have been asked to identify road issues in the region for NRMA research.
