Cindy?s fight over

CINDY Stoker died on Wednesday after a battle with cancer.

Her death came only days after husband Mark died of a brain tumour.

She leaves behind four young daughters aged from six to 14 in the care of their paternal grandmother Maureen McKeown, who moved from Brisbane to be with the family.

Initially Mrs Stoker was diagnosed with terminal cancer after feeling unwell, and it was found she had countless secondary tumours stemming from a primary tumour on her lung.

"It's such a tragedy and the rest of the community has been touched by the pain and enormous burden the kids are going to face," Member for Clarence Steve Cansdell said.

"They are going to need more help than ever."
