Clarence Coast tourism drawcard

THE Clarence Coast features in the first of a new suite of North Coast of NSW holiday planners designed to bring more visitors to regional NSW.

The planner has been launched by the NSW Minister for Tourism and Sport and Recreation, Sandra Nori (pictured).

It is first of seven to be produced by Tourism NSW over the next 12 months.

"This is the next step in a powerful campaign to drive awareness of the variety of destinations along the NSW North Coast as well as to help people plan their North Coast trips," Ms Nori said.

Ms Nori said that it followed a promotional blitz which included 11 weeks of 30-second TV commercials in Sydney, regional NSW and South-East Queensland; eight weeks of a two-minute TV infomercial for the region; 10 weeks of cinema advertising; continuous PR and online marketing, including bringing international media to the region.

The 64-page glossy North Coast of NSW holiday planner is being promoted for two weeks in regional NSW via a 15-second television commercial and through print advertising in Sydney and South-East Queensland. Consumers call 13 14 52 for their free holiday planner.
