Comedian back for Rotary charity auction

By EMMA CORNFORD

NATIONALLY acclaimed voice impressionist and comedian Keith Scott will make his way to Grafton on May 7 for the Grafton Midday Rotary charity auction.

Mr Scott will MC the night and have a comedy spot.

"I'll be imitating some of the new voices around the place but I'll throw in a few old timers as well. I try and mix it up a bit," Mr Scott said.

Mr Scott said he was looking forward to returning to the Clarence, where he last performed at the 2001 charity auction.

"It's always nice to get up to the North Coast because I always find there's a really friendly reception," he said.

"Last time the audience was lovely and I guess they asked me back so I hope it will be a good night."

Shoppingworld, the Quality Inn, Big Sky Express and Grafton Travel are helping to bring Mr Scott to town.

Tickets for the event at the South Grafton Ex-Servicemen's Club are $35 a head and include pre-dinner drinks, food and entertainment. They are available at Bright Eyes and Harvey's Jewellers and are sell- ing fast.
