Cowards? Graffiti slammed by police

A GRAFTON address was targetted in a spray paint attack on Wednesday as unknown persons used the side of the house to express the message pictured right.

The graffiti had been removed by the following morning.

Inspector Parriott, of the Coffs-Clarence Local Area Command, said people caught vandalising property with slogans like the one pictured could be found guilty of committing malicious damage, a charge which attracted a maximum five-year jail sentence.

"These people are participating in anti-social behaviour which goes against social norms and is not to be tolerated," he said.
