Employees at a Brisbane businessopen their hearts to the Stokers

FEW of those employed at Coronis Realty in Stafford, Brisbane, have ever travelled to the Clarence Valley.
Until just before Christmas, many of them probably had very little contact with the people of the Valley.
But after one office worker heard about the Stoker family appeal through a family member who lives in Grafton, he decided the office should make a Christmas gift.
Instead of the usual Christmas tradition of spending $20 each on a secret Santa present for someone else in the office, the Coronis employees decided to donate their money to the appeal.
"Generosity knows no bounds between states. When there's people in trouble, you just help them out," said Coronis director, Theo Coronis.
"Everyone in the office thought it was a great idea and responded to it.
"Christmas is all about giving and ... whether it's someone else at the office or a family in need, we're always open to suggestions."
The office raised a total of $550 for the appeal, which will soon be deposited in the account.
