Full steam ahead



THE Clarence Valley Council approved over $96 million worth of development last financial year, council's environment and planning director Rob Donges told a council committee yesterday.

A report from Mr Donges to the environment and planning committee said 1153 development applications were approved in the 2005/06 financial year out of 1220 submitted.

Mr Donges said the total value of the works was just under $96.4 million, with 335 lots approved. He said the average processing time of applications was just under 29 days.
