GDSC trying to share the wealth

ONE Grafton resident is guaranteed to be $10,000 richer next week ? and it's not because of the races. The Grafton District Services Club 'Share the Wealth' members' draw jack- potted to $10,000 last week for the first time since January 2005. And with draws on Tuesday and Thursday night not producing a winner, GDSC general manager Arthur Ly- saught said it was incredible the mon- ey had not been won. "It is unbelieveble, particularly when you consider the number of people that were in the club on Tuesday night and again Thursday night," he said. "There was one member in particular who was a regular who decided to stop away (and their number was drawn), so you can imagine their disappoint- ment." Mr Lysaught said the odds of the money surviving the two previous draws was 'about one in a million'. The next draw for the promotion is tomorrow night at 6.15pm. To win you must be a financial mem- ber of GDSC and in the club at the time of the draw. It's a good week to be at the club, because added to the 'Share the Wealth' promotion is the 'Frantic Fri- day Frenzy' prize, which wasn't won yesterday, and also stands at $10,000. It will be drawn again next Friday.
