Grafton?s fuel cheapest in the state
GRAFTON had the lowest-priced petrol in the state yesterday, according to the NRMA's fuel watch website.
The NRMA's website does not list other Clarence centres such as Maclean and Yamba, but showed Grafton with the State's lowest petrol prices at 131.3 cents a litre.
Neighbouring centres of Coffs Harbour and Lismore had petrol at 143.9 and 135.2 cents/litre respectively.
The cheapest petrol in Sydney yesterday was 134.9 cents/litre.
The dearest was in Bega at 148 cents/litre.
Despite Grafton's low prices, it still couldn't match the best in Queensland, with some Brisbane outlets selling petrol for 127.9 cents/litre yesterday.
Lismore had the best listed prices for diesel at 139.3 cents/litre. In Grafton, diesel was selling for 142.4 cents/litre. Bega had the double whammy of the highest priced petrol and diesel. Diesel was selling yesterday for 152.1 cents/litre.
