Hillclimb titles hit the Valley

ROUND six of NSW Hillclimb Championship this weekend at the Mountain View Motor Sport Complex, has attracted 52 entrantsfrom as far a field as Wollongong, Tamworth and Brisbane.
Queensland-based Quantum Racing Industries are supporting the Grafton Sporting Car Club in staging this popular round at the complex.
Multiple Australian champion Peter Gumley will be contending with Tamworth's Neil Farr, who is one of few drivers who have outpaced him in a convincing win in round two at Bathurst in his Bowin F 5000.
The closest racing in sedans will be the ongoing tussle between Southport's Clinton White and Woodburn's Steve Sauer, both in Imp Production 2 Ltr Escorts.
Ballina's Martin Jordan will defend his champion status in the biggest class of Over 2 Litre Imp Production, in anearlier model LJ Torana than normal winner.
Casino duo Garry Ford and Gerard Boyle are class contenders and will Co drive the 250 ci Escort Mk 2 in the sports sedan.
Practice can be viewed from midday tomorrow with catering facilities available.
Racing on Sunday is from 10am with nominal spectator entry fee and free pit access.
