I just don?t care any more

THIEVES and vandals who broke into Sean Power's car yard have finally beaten him.

The Power's Rego and Mechanical owner said over the past two years his South Grafton workshop had been broken into eight times and cars in the yard damaged more times than he cares to remember.

Mr Power said between 5pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday two cars' side windows were smashed.

"It is shocking, I don't care any more," he said. "I walk in and see windows smashed and you just have to block it out."

Mr Power said the series of attacks cost him more than $10,000.

"If anything gets stolen from outside the building I can't claim insurance because I don't have a fence," he said.

Mr Power said in the week before Christmas there were two break-ins and two Toyota Landcruisers stolen.

He said two cars had been burnt out, the front doors smashed twice, office ransacked and on one night five cars were broken into.

"I don't know who is doing this or what type of people," Mr Power said.

"They are running amok."

Mr Power said he had resorted to keeping many of the cars at his home and would install cameras.
