YOUNG Grafton go-kart driver Lachlan O'Reilly will be out to continue his recent good form when he contests this weekend's 'State of Origin' series at Coffs Harbour.

On April 2 Lachlan scored a hard fought first round win in the Northern Zone Championship series at Tamworth.

Lachlan is also scheduled to race at Grafton on the May 28 where he be attempting to extend his lead in the drivers' championship.

Last Sunday in Canberra Lachlan won his 'midget' class finishing 2nd, 2nd, 1st and 1st over four races.

It was also a family celebration, Lachlan's family in the nation's capital to celebrate his grand mothers' 70th birthday.

Lachlan was cheered on by his family and friends winning the final on the technically difficult Canberra track.
