Lifesavers on bite



YAMBA Surf Life Saving Club president Ray Burridge is asking for all club members to be available to assist in one of the club's major fund raisers, The Annual Yamba Doorknock Appeal on Sunday.

Club members easily recognisable in club gear and issued with official receipt books will be calling on as many homes as possible during Sunday afternoon asking for donations towards the appeal.

Funds raised will be mainly used in the purchasing and upkeep of vital rescue equipment

Money is also needed for the planned refurbishment of the clubhouse in preparation for the club's approaching 100th year of lifesaving service to the
