Livermore meets the kids

HEAD OF THE CLASS: Grafton's Olympic hockey hero Brent Livermore took time out from his training schedule yesterday to visit Grafton Public School and The Cathedral School. Right, he answers a question from 10-year-old Grafton Public student Mathew Muller. Livermore, the captain of Australia's gold medal-winning men's hockey team at last year's Olympic Games in Athens, answered questions from the children and spoke about his life as a professional hockey player. Today, Livermore will visit South Grafton Public and Westlawn Public schools. Livermore and fellow Olympian Michael McCann will be star attractions this weekend during a series of games on Saturday and Sunday for the official opening of Brent Livermore Field. Livermore will also play for the Grafton representative team against Dubbo and with his father Barry in a special father-son game.
