Living like Jaca ?rock stars

YESTERDAY we felt like Jacaranda rock stars, or at least we acted as such.

The Jacaranda Party travelled around in our 'tour bus'. It was one of our busiest days ? ducking in and out of 11 functions.

By the third day the party ? Princess Tara, Holiday Princess Shellane and Monique ? were a little tired but still looking forward to each event. We have a wager with matron Jill and Denise ? they think they will outlast us.

It was an emotional moment when we visited Livingstone House, where Shellane's great grandmother Annie lives. Annie suffers dementia and it was an eye opener to see the effects of dementia. I am in awe of how strong Shellane was.

We had a blast dancing at Jack and Jill Preschool, Bright Sparks and the New School of Arts.

Thanks to the children at Blinky's Children's Centre for their gifts. A big hello to Jake ? thank you for my beautiful drawing.

Listen to us this morning on Life FM and we will be on our best behaviour at the Inner Wheel Club Jacaranda luncheon. We will have afternoon tea at Grafton Regional Gallery with my mum, director Jude McBean.
