Magpies look for luck of draw

By STEVE SPINKS

LAST season there was nothing separating Lower Clarence and Ballina.

Twice the two teams met and both matches ended in 28-all draws.

The first draw was an amazing game with the Magpies leading 28-0 at half-time before the Seagulls levelled just before full-time.

Even though both outfits are vastly changed from last season it puts a nice twist on tomorrow's encounter at Kingsford Smith Park, Ballina.

But the similarity ends their in season 2005.

Lower have lost both of their matches, while Ballina are undefeated.

First grade kicks-off at 2.45pm.
